“On #mayday take to the streets, shutdown your city, and tell the powers at be," I’m mad as hell & Im not gonna take it anymore!"

A Consumer-Cautionary Tale

I got a taste of how my fellow Mexican Multi-millionaire makes business and realized what a terrible scam just one single company can be, obviously at the eyes of us, regular ‘mortals’ that celebrate days like ‘Labor Day’ as the slaves we have become, to them it’s just regular business serving the Profit God. So, Cellphones are a great business not only for the manufacturers but to all Carriers. Here in Mexico I had foolishly thought that 1 MB = 1 Peso, I had even thought that I could be having the ‘cellphone use’ on since I’m mostly using wi-fi on it. Well it turned out a great amount of money had been used on ‘passive usage’ of cellphone data because, yes oh dear god I didn’t turn the ‘Cellphone Data’ to the OFF Mode and even if the cellphone manufacturer had apparently fixed the ‘cellphone usage’ mishap when having broadband available… well it might just casually be that both manufacturers and carriers have plotted these small slips that drain your credit just like petty theft, one bit at a time ending up in a rather large sum of money that I in my foolish assumption believed to be ‘under my control.’ No, sir, no.

I called customer service to get to know the reason of my ‘sudden’ drop of credit, had a chat with the lady at customer service. Obviously it’s fascinating when discussing rates how they simply say “The cost is .02 cents per 1 kb”  – so I replied “Therefore it’s 20 pesos per 1 MB correct?” and she simply repeated the same information “1 kb is .02 cents” They are definitely told not to voice out what is nowhere to be seen in the company’s advertisement… You could say by then I could have immediately gone ‘up in flames’ but nope, I didn’t. I understood that I had been an irresponsible and careless consumer as well as an irresponsible and careless citizen to be more aware of how the hell corporations manage to ‘get away with murder’ in any desirable way they want.  Also, I’ve known people that work in call centers and gotten to hear their own stories from ‘angry customers’ that don’t realize how it is not the call service to be blamed for what the corporate policies are and do. This enabled me to immediately place myself in their  shoes, understanding how they obviously probably also see this as a crime, but just like an insider being captive by the ‘enemy,’ they can’t speak a word or else they ‘hit the street.’

So, as she was confessing the history of my internet navigation sins, I breathed, recognized my responsibility, recognized the situation and actually let her know that what I was about to express was nothing personal toward her since I understand she is only working for company, but I obviously expressed how deceitful their plans are since they began giving away 100 mb for a certain amount of credit on your cellphone and just like our devaluation in 94’ the 100 free mb suddenly ‘shed’ some two zeros and left with just a ‘1 mb’ for free, wow, gee they give away 1 minute of a YouTube video, 1 heavy photograph, 1 minute of audio or 20 pesos …. see the absurdity of our value systems? – She merely replied: ‘I Understand you’ and proceeded to repeat some information about the cost of the ‘passive navigation’ which I simply didn’t require to hear again since it is done and there’s no way to get my money back for something I can claim to be ‘unaware of.’

Well, this is Mexico and I must remind you that our minimum wage in the ‘lowest’ zone is equivalent to 3.06 MB, 3 and a few seconds of a YouTube video, a short song, 3 heavy pictures or a PDF document on your smart phone, that is 61.38 MX Pesos (3.8421 Euro), and yes if you’ve followed this blog, you might notice we had a glorious 3.9% minimum wage raise – hell yeah, 6 pesos /0.3756 Euro that are good enough for round trip in your public transportation of choice in Mexico City – oh wait, not applicable to Buses, just train and subway.

Then I realized that this seemingly ‘unimportant’ situation is the perfect example of how everything functions in our world system:

– We benefit from the service/ goods as long as we have money for it
– We rarely ever take a moment to read the contracts, the policies, the fine print, we just want to immediately ‘use it.’
– We then blame and complain about the ‘corporate powers’ that create these rules, but hey: why did we not read all the details in the contract first? furthermore: why have we not yet created a commission to promote illicit enrichment when corporations obtain money through deceitful marketing campaigns? And even further: why are we still accepting and allowing ourselves to exist in a World-System where the rich get richer, the poor get poorer in ‘perfect’ legal ways?

I could talk about ‘Who’ is behind this Tele Communications company and yes you might know is Carlos Slim since he is part of the gracious Forbes’ list of the richest man in the world, but seriously he is not to blame – he is a businessman that simply did what he learned and aspired to become: a great businessman. We all accepted and allowed this to be done in a country where we all culturally solace within complaining about the government and politicians, but don’t want to have anything to with it. That’s how I agree that we have the government that we ‘deserve’ but that attitude is in fact an excuse to justify the enslavement to carelessness, to indifference, to a desensitized culture, to a value-system that is beyond any pipe dream yet we “live” in it, or shall I say we Endure in it because we think there is no ‘way out.’ If there really wasn’t a way out,  there would not be a single person in this world having a great life and unfortunately we do have those that have a great time at the expense of the majority – but again: we accepted and allowed it, which means our own disparity, our own insanity, our own pipe dream is our current world system, our monetary system where we have enslaved ourselves to our creation – and there will be no solution to this unless we change the way that corporations are settled, which means: getting into politics, changing the constitutions to declare Equality as life with a new Monetary system that integrates this realization – then creating the necessary laws to consider illicit enrichment when one single man in a 120 million people country can be considered one of the richest men in the world while charging a third of your minimum wage for 1 mb on your phone.

Wow, really, wow.

See how this

works?

We don’t educate ourselves, we just ‘go with the flow’ and believe that somehow something or someone will just ‘demand change’ and something will go better this way… well our carelessness, our numbness, our absolute ‘anything goes/ why bother’ attitudes are perfect elements for our enslavement. We are the work force that puts the money-bricks of a rich man’s fortress, but we comply to it, we abide to it because we think ‘there’s no other way’ and then decide that Resistance is the way to go – Is it’?

If there is Anything that can be said on a day like today, is that the ‘sweat of our brow’ and the ideas implanted in our minds about “life having to be a struggle” and complying to absurd, ridiculous and abusive measures by our corporations is nothing else but the reflection of all the abuse, all the friction and conflict that we accept ourselves to exist as within  our minds: we create the world, and complaining about the economy, wars, terrorism, violation of human rights  is just another hypocritical move if we haven’t yet gotten to a point of self honesty to understand why being ‘angry at the system/ the world/ the CEO/ the priest/ the president’ is just another hissy fit where nothing is being solved but only our ‘Righteousness’ is filled up for another round to go.

I advocate that all telecommunications – internet, cellphone usage – are made a human right in an Equal Money System. It is the movement of information with electricity between reception towers and networks that require maintenance, attention, support and necessary upgrades that can for sure be established by a corporation that we can all support with with annual fees that in no way will compare to paying 2 American dollars per megabyte – and yes I am aware you pay more than that in other countries, however as with anything having to do with Exchange Rates, you can’t charge only one dollar less than in a country where a worker is able to make $7.25 an HOUR as of 2013 – much more than what you get for a full DAY here.

What would be an actual movement to stop the madness, the chaos, the fears, the uncertainty, the lack, the worry of not having sufficient money to live another day and all the righteous protests we get because of this? Equal Money Capitalism and The Equal Life Bill of Rights to understand that change in this world is not about shouting on the streets and building up an entire party-spirit about it, it’s about Educating ourselves, becoming responsible consumers and participants in the system, it’s about becoming involved in our politics, to understand how is it that corporations have become the rulers of this world, how we have accepted and allowed every single ‘atrocity’ we can complain to customer service call centers and how we can Reform the system by our own ability to use the same mechanisms with which we have built it to eventually, redefine every single structure that we have defined in the name of abuse, power, control and ultimate Greed.

To get ‘off the grid’ is in fact to step out of the Greed, the complacency , the helplessness, the victimization and shout-out attitude to instead become involved in feasible and concrete solutions that are determined to change the way we exist in this world forever and finally get to Live and enjoy Giving and Receiving in Equality.

May Day? May We Come Together to Stop our Massive brainwashing and actually establish solutions to prevent our world to be eaten by our greed and carelessness? Yes, Let’s do it

Equal Money and Communism

Posted in communism, Education, Equal Money System, occupywallstreet, protests, socialism with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 13, 2011 by marlenlife

Perspectives by Destonians on how Communism is not the current solution in this world.

Anna Brix Thomsen

The thing with communism is that it is all about "fighting" and "revolting" against the establishment. Thus there is no self-responsibility for all as a whole and division and separation is ironically upheld by the continuous insisting on it. The realization is important – yet it is vital that we move from the realization into actually changing what is here and not accepting separation within the solutions that we implement. So it is obvious that a change that is born from fighting and resisting an oppressive establishment will keep existing in this "spirit" unless it transforms itself into a sustainable community. That is why communist regimes fall. An Equal Money System has nothing to do with communism – because it is not based on theoretic ideas of equality born from a revolting activism – but is equality in fact – a practical activism that unites that which has been divided. It is the equation that equate itself.

Marlen Vargas Del Razo

Exactly, I made a video – yet haven’t posted it – on how Occupy Wall Street is like communism on how it’s the ‘now’ proletarians revolting against the ‘elite/ bourgeoisie’ wanting to now ‘take the power back’ and essentially fighting against them which is the entire ‘revolting’ which is also promoted by people like Max Keiser. Instead of simply promoting a solution that can be implemented through democratic means –

Though as we’ve gotten perspective, OWS is for now part of the process that some have to walk through only to then realize:oh shit, we’ve got to actually do something else than just revolting against the system.

Equal Money hence has nothing to do with overcoming the elite, but simply dignifying the lives of all living beings as an overall reform that won’t only change the way money exists but how the human being considers itself within this world as part of the whole.
This recognition is being ignited within people protesting at the moment, yet there’s no direction to it and such direction implies self responsibility = Practivisim: I become the change that I want to see and be in this world – I make sure I am part of the solution by stopping myself and not by joining a crusade that will lead to another winning/losing existence.

@MarlenLife I have a question for you: Let´s presume for a second, the equal money system was to be established worldwide and every newborn child on earth had a fair chance for survival and an acceptable lifeexpectancy. How would you deal with overpopulation (which obviously would explode off the charts!)?

  • MarlenLife 1 sec ago

@whotheme overpopulation is happening already whether you have equal money or NOT therefore I have no answer for that because we haven’t even solved that in the current system. My perspective is there’s obviously lack of education and many that live in extreme poverty have more kinds that your average middle class. This also places into perspective what determines birth rate: money or the lack of it which implies lack of education and means for birth control –

And I’m a democratic socialist promoting a system in which workers own the work place and the people own the state, where by law everyone is equal in rights and privileges and even garbage collectors can hold their heads high like they do in Denmark.

  • MarlenLife 2 hours ago

@Laughingblades How about creating a system that supports everyone Equally with everyone taking care of the maintenance of the system through an Equal Money System which is equating life and the actual tangible goods and services that can be provided for all as a birth right. So, we could implement such living standard for everyone regardless of where they are in the world. A dignified living for all. Research equalmoney . org

  • Laughingblades 40 minutes ago

@MarlenLife Not everyone is equally skilled and motivated, and not everyone wants the same things, but I do support the ultimate goal of everyone having equal access, I simply see socialism as a step towards that goal. Socialism works with a flawed humanity that has far to grow and socially evolve before anything like Communism can actually work, but ultimately I want a world in which most labor is handled by machines, everyone has access to resources, and human beings have no use for money.

  • MarlenLife 1 second ago

@Laughingblades skills are currently limited to people not having enough money to train themselves for that. Equality does not mean you’ll always ‘want the same as the other’ no – it is about having the same access to what is here for everyone to have a dignified living = equal access. Let’s forget about socialism and communism that have proven themselves to fail already. Investigate Equal Money System -We Can make use of anything that’s here as technology, but what matters is equality.

    • @MarlenLife Yes skills are limited by lack of access but that isn’t the only issue, not everyone would be equally skilled even if everyone had equal access and not everyone would be equally motivated even if they were equally skilled. I support equal access and dignified living for everyone, what I’m saying is that socialism is a good way to get us started down that path and rise out of the struggle most of us are in so that we can actually see the destination.

    • @Laughingblades Please watch the video Equal Money & SelfMotiveAction as well as other ones that have already explained your points here – including Equal Money System & Communism – the destination is not placed YET we must create an outcome that’s best for all.

    •

    • @MarlenLife Right but what I mean is that socialism is a stepping stone to equal access and a good quality of life for everyone being a goal. First we need a populist movement to pull us out of the mire of bureaucratic business elites ruling over our daily lives, and take back the narrative from the economic social darwinists, the case for socialism can be made in a way that wins over the American worker if only people would take back the narrative, and from there, maybe a technocracy Laughingblades

    •

    • @Laughingblades There can be no power ruler on Equality – We all feed such ‘ruling bureaucratic business elites’. Socialism is burned now and people react to the slightest word next to it, plus it never worked as there was STILL a ruling class. So – Equality is the way, equal power to all where everyone is equally responsible. No need to resort to only focusing on production ways, but actually taking the whole into consideration beyond production only, a new living system that considers LIFE.

Protesters of Bullfights Get Bullied by Police

Equal Money System for ALL Life to be Supported and Respected

This happened today in Oaxaca, México where the Animal Protection Activists’ Association  tried to exercise their right to ‘demonstrate’ against the traditional Bullfights which is called ironically also ‘Fiesta Brava’ – by blocking the access to the event after the first bull had been killed as part of the usual spectacle.  Police then intervened in a violent manner against the group of around 40 mainly young people shouting and demanding their right to express and demonstrate freely which caused the apprehension of at least 10 of them and an overall pepper-spraying courtesy of state policemen-

So here we lay out the basic points:

None of this would actually be necessary as Bullfights are a ‘traditional excuse’ to preserve a juicy secured money-making event that’s popular amongst the remains of Spanish colonialism as the elite and some human beings that do enjoy watching a man dressed in tight leggings  and golden armor dancing around a bull until he’s able to literally kill the animal which concludes the entire show.

Yes this is in essence a cave-men entertainment yet, it’s 2011

and still running as the ideas of man having power over an animal -that’s ‘traditionally associated with ‘evil’ hence ‘man’ as the ‘male force’ he ‘represents’ is able to kill this strong animal and offer it as part of a single old-fashioned way of justifying animal abuse and making money at the same time.

The counterpart is obviously defending Animals’ Rights, they’re usually vegetarian, they’re against all types of Crimes and abuse towards/against Animals which are definitely always linked to money.

Yet, is demonstrating the way to stop this? We can see how it lead to further unnecessary violence causing one person to break their skull as well as creating an entire hype in an already known target for social discontent as Oaxaca.

Violence won’t EVER bring about an actual Change.

Change must be created at the root of it all which is Money. Therefore we create a point to change the entire current economic system that’s supporting the creation of these events as it’s been accepted and allowed due to ‘Tradition’ which entails sentimental.values added coming from people that are usually considered ‘the Elite’ as these type of shows require a constant support as attendance to keep it ‘flowing’ that means keeping it rentable. Literally just another cult of people with a particular interest in the middle of it all – money.

A Load of Bullshit, all of it unnecessary.

In the Equal Money System these type of atrocities against all life, these type of defense towards ‘Traditions’ and ‘Cultural Values’ as nostalgia will be eradicated the moment that any living being is being directly harmed/abuse by humans’ bullshitting ‘history’.

It is clear these events are still made because of MONEY hence, we stop the ability to create these type of business wherein profit is directly linked to an entire industry of voyeuristic pleasure of man exerting its power against an animal.

This is an accepted/promoted and even ‘nice’ way of seeing the death of an animal of course – if we had first row tickets for slaughter houses, we would sure be pleading for this to stop as the suffering experienced by these animals must be insurmountable.

Within Equality, All Life is Equally Valued, No Life is placed to be sacrificed for the sake of Enter-Tament which currently won’t be easily stopped until sufficient understanding and debunking of mind control is in place because this entails constant self-support to walk this through the veils placed on top of Life.

No ANIMAL will be ABUSED for the sake of Money-making.
